OUR TEAMWayne JacksonInstructional Designer Wayne is an Instructional Designer, specialising in the design of instruction for multimedia and online delivery of training. He is focused on best practice in instructional design to ensure the educational effectiveness of training. During his 10 years in the eLearning industry, Wayne has designed over 100 online training courses for organisations such as McDonalds, Johnson and Johnson, Ticketek, Vodafone, Westpac, Rio Tinto and many Australian Government organisations such as the Australian Federal Police, ABS and ATO. Wayne also led the development of an evaluation tool that was used to evaluate the effectiveness of several online courses developed by TAFE NSW. This led to improved processes used within TAFE and enhanced learning experiences. Wayne led the design of large scale software simulation project for Vodafone. This project was the largest undertaking of Impart and the largest eLearning project in Australia at the time (2005). Wayne liaised with Vodafone to design a simulation that was high impact and would meet the needs critical to the operation of the business. In 2008, Wayne won the LearnX Asia Pacific Best Instructional Designer of the year award and spoke at the LearnX 2008 conference on 'Approaches to building both effective and sustainable software simulation solutions'. Wayne has been with Workstar since 2001. Prior to that he was an Instructional Designer with the National Training and Development team at Woolworths. He holds a Bachelor of Multimedia (Major in Instructional Design) from Southern Cross University. |
